COASTAL CENTURY HOME PORCH

We designed and renovated this back porch that serves as a double duty, laundry room and mudroom in this historical home. A peek-a-boo window that let cold air into the main floor powder room was removed to make room for 3/4 high bead board and coat hooks and shaker door trim was added to match the rest of the home. Quartzite stone tiles are durable and mimic the colours of sand and sea that the home owners love. A unique two height cast iron antique sink found by the homeowners for $80.00 and was installed light gray and sea blue was chosen to lightly contrast the crisp white bead board and trims. All original hardware and historical windows were maintained.
